The Chilcotin River continues to carve out Farewell Canyon near Williams Lake in the Cariboo Country of British Columbia, Canada. The area of Farewell Canyon consists of a medley of Hoodoo Formations, sand dunes, pungent smelling sage bush, plus wildlife such as big horn sheep, and mule deer. The Chilcotin River which cuts through Farewell Canyon is a great river for rafting and the area is well suited t o hiking, biking, and sightseeing.
