Pinkish hues span across the sky and highlight the scenic area while a Killer Whale decides to visit the people aboard a fishing boat in the waters off Northern Vancouver Island. The Killer Whale ventures closer to see who is on board the fishing boat while the sunset lighting reflects off his dorsal fin showing off the ripples.
Many fishing boats see Killer Whales everyday during the summer months, but not many enjoy a close encounter during the sunset hours when other boats have returned home for the day. The crew aboard sits patiently waiting to see what the Killer Whale will do while enjoying the beauty of this fascinating marine mammal.
