Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada is a picturesque place throughout the entire year but when the forest changes with the Autumn season, the color is outstanding. Reds, yellows, greens, browns and oranges make up the forest which will eventually look barren when all the leaves fall to the forest floor.
As far back as you can see across the hillside the forest thickens and each color is still easily recognizable. This type of scenery is a paradise for photographers as well as artists that can be found sitting in the chilly Autumn air painting masterpieces.

Most people tour through Algonquin Provincial Park during the summer months to enjoy the summer activities but once they realize what Autumn has to offer, this could become a busier place. Not only is the color amazing, the nights are cooler so the insects disappear, quiet evenings can bring about the sounds of the wolves howling and the wildlife seems to be spotted more frequently.
Highway 60 in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada is well worth the travel and is somewhere you should consider travelling to on your next fall vacation.
