The waterfront walkway is a long stretch that starts at Queens Wharf to Evans Bay near the Wellington, New Zealand airport and part of this walkway is where you will find Frank Kitts Park. People stroll this promenade daily and the park has a large, safe play area for kids of all ages as well as being the ideal location for employees to sit and relax on breaks and enjoy the view. Inline skaters, scooters, runners and walkers also frequent the waterfront walkway.Frank Kitts Park in Wellington, New Zealand has been finished since 1976 but was extended in the later years in the 1980's. It was an area that was developed before the rest of the waterfront walkway. Many events and exhibitions are held in this park as there is plenty of space for lots of people to enjoy the festivities.As you wander through the park, be sure to stop and see some of the city's fascinating art sculptures.
