A historic city which dates back to the year 724 and possibly earlier, Freising has grown to a population of ca 48,000 people. The Freisinger Dom is a focal point in the city, the towers of which are illuminated from dusk until dawn each day.
This picture was taken from an aerial vantage point during dusk once the street lights were illuminated, sending out a warm glow on a cold winters night.
Bell towers of the Freisinger Dom, aka Mariendom (Freising Cathedral) illuminated with lights at dusk as seen across the rooftops in the City of Freising, Bavaria, Germany, Europe.
