Carpets of red, yellow, and white flow through the city of Ottawa like one continuous garden. This discribes the Ottawa Tulip Festival, an annual spring time event which is held over a period of nearly 3 weeks. Commissioners Park, Dow Lake, Parliament Hill, Major's Hill Park are just a few of the locations which are transformed into spectacular displays of floral blooms. Special attractions are also highlighted during the festival including parades at ByWard Market, flotilla on the Rideau Canal and much more.
