The single lane bridge which has been used to cross the Gates of Haast fall for decades. At an elevation of 564 metres above sea level, the Haast River squeezes through a narrow gorge and drops 3-5 metres on its journey towards the Tasman Sea.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 1/200 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 16mm.
