Camping in Canada is a very popular pastime - even if it is camping in campers, such as the one here in the Hidden Glen Trailer Park, near Honey Harbour in Georgian Bay, Ontario. Lots of families and friends take off for a few weeks or even a long weekend, hire a camper, and drive to a new destination and spend some time out in nature for a while. Using a camper is always a nice idea because it means that people won't have to sleep on the ground and they can still have running water and a working toilet.
This camper in the photograph even has a satellite dish on top so that they can pick up internet; many people would argue that this isn't really camping at all. The kind of camping at Hidden Glen Trailer Park can be in a tent or in a camper, and they also offer facilities like toilets, so anyone visiting here won't have to rough it too badly. ... continue below the picture...
Camping in any way though, whether it is in a camper like this or in a tent in the depths of the woods with no one around, is a chance to connect with nature, to get some fresh air and get away from the stresses of modern living for a while. Camping can be one of the best summer activities as when the sun is shining and you're in the middle of the woods, there is really nothing better.
