Canada can offer visitors some great getaways from bustling cities, to remote locations. The beautiful waterfront of Victoria, is an easy location to reach for one of those weekend getaways. Victoria is a short 90 minute ferry ride from Vancouver onto Vancouver Island where this colourful city is located. Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and is considered one of the gateways to travel on the island which is packed with everything from adventure travel to nature watching. Vancouver Island is a great location for one of your getaways.
