This man is using a sculpting cup to form the glassblowing piece which is just one of the techniques used in the process. The exact temperatures are very important when glassblowing and there are many safety rules that must be recognized before beginning any type of work with fire and glass.
To create different shapes of vases, glasses, bowls or ornamental items, there are a variety of tools that are required in order to reach the desired look. Each glassblowing artist has their own techniques they follow to form the right shape but the proper equipment and steps used are what makes the masterpiece.
