After a day of skiing or snowboarding on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, visitors stop off at the Longhorn Saloon and Grill for some much needed refreshments. As well as serving the usual beverages, the Longhorn Saloon also serves up glasses of hot gluehwein or mulled wine.
Gluehwein (German meaning glow wine) is made of red wine and spices heated together and served hot. It's the ultimate drink on a cold winters day as it warms you from the inside and puts a lovely glow on your face.
Whistler which is resort village located in the Pacific Ranges of the British Columbia Coast Mountains will be co-hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.
