This retired gentleman uses an iron to take his second shot on one of the 18 holes at the Oliva Nova Golf Course in Valencia, Spain in Europe. This was a beautiful shot as the man's golf ball is laying in the middle of the fairway which makes it easier to select the right iron for his next shot.A golfer has a selection of clubs to choose from and each iron is used for certain distances. Depending on how far you can hit the golf ball, you will know which iron to use for each shot.An iron is the club that is most likely to be used from the fairway but they can also be used off the tee if you are playing on a par-3 golf course. This man has the ideal stance on the fairway to hit his iron shot and hopefully his follow through on his swing is just as good to get the ball close to the hole. The Oliva Nova Golf Course is a beautiful golf course along the Costa Blanca in Valencia, Spain. There is also a driving range where you can practice your golf shot using each of your clubs or just practice using each wood or each iron separately. ... continue below the picture...
