The Grand Hotel Evropa in Wenceslas Square, Prague in the Czech Republic is also known as the Grand Hotel Sroubek and was first constructed in 1889. In 1903 and 1905 it was then rebuilt in art noveau style under the supervision of two renown architects.The Grand Hotel Evropa has about 90 rooms and two Louis XVI style apartments with most of them having their own private bathrooms. Some of the economy rooms have wash basins only with shared bathrooms and toilets but it is considered the cheapest place to stay in Wenceslas Square in Prague. The Grand Hotel Evropa is in the ideal location of the downtown core of Prague where there are historic landmarks, restaurants, bars, night clubs, discos and a variety of different shops all close enough to walk to.
