When a Polar Bear is growling, this is a sure sign from the bear that humans should keep their distance while bear watching near the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba. When visitors intrude on a Polar Bear, they may just continue on their way and ignore the fact or they will make the visitors well aware that they are trespassing in their region.
If the massive size of a Polar Bear is not enough to scare people off, then the growling will surely make people understand that they mean business.
Polar Bear, Ursus maritimus, near Camp Nanuq, Hudson Bay, Churchill, Manitoba, Canada.
