It is a strange sight to see a solitary tree growing atop these rock cliffs in the town of Guadalest in the Province of Alicante in Comunidad Valenciana in Spain, Europe. The facade of the cliffs has various sections where some greenery flourishes and other spots which are bare but the tree seems to enjoy its solitude.The village of Guadalest is located in its own unique location on the higher elevations of a granite mountain. Surrounded by rock cliffs, the town itself is nestled away in the mountainous valley making the scenery from Guadalest breathtaking.
