The sky near Voels, Italy is multicolored from the amazing sunset over the protruding rock formations of the Hammerwand. The cloud structures make the sunset even more intriguing as they add colorful imaginary pictures to the skies.
The peaks of the Hammerwand are 2128 meters high and stand way above the small mountain village of Voels which is located on the southern side of the Alps. The green meadows and charming country home in the foreground look minature as the sunset sinks slowly behind these majestic rock formations.
The Hammerwand is part of the Schlern Natural Park which covers an area of about 6,800 hectares and there are excellent nature excursions available in the summer months.
Sunset near Voels am Schlern with rock formations which are a part of the Schlern Sciliar in the Naturpark Schlern or Parco Naturale dello Sciliar, Italy.
