The Hammerwand stands at 2,128 meters but it is still not the highest part of the Schlern Sciliar in the Naturpark Schlern in South Tyrol. In the foreground, a beautiful home adorns the landscape where it is surrounded by green fields with their closest neighbor being a fair distance away. The brown and white house is typical of the type of homes found near Voels and the view out their windows is the beautiful rock formations of Hammerwand which glisten at sunset from the last remaining rays of the sun.Sunset near Voels with the rock formations of Hammerwand at 2128 metres part of the Schlern Sciliar in the Naturpark Schlern or Parco Naturale dello Sciliar, Italy, South Tirol, Europe, Europe 2006.
