The Atlantic harp seal population is the largest and most studied. This stock Photo is of a baby Harp Seal or Phoca groenlandica was taken just off the Coast of Labrador, Canada. Harp seals spend most of their lives in the sea, feeding on mainly fish and crustaceans. When a harp seal is born they are completely white and look really cute. They are almost helpless except they virtually blend into the white back ground of the ice.
