Tourists that drive by this place of residence in the town of Kurow in North Otago on the South Island of New Zealand love to see the hay bale people. This hay bale was made into a little boy that wears a cute hat, a smile and red overalls as he winks at people passing by.The rest of his hay bale family stands beside him with a father, mother and sister and to the left of the little boy you can see the body of the dog. People that see these hay bale people can not help smiling and stop to take their picture while going through Kurow, New Zealand.Kurow is a very small community and the people which reside here are very laid back and like to make visitors to the area enjoy the scenery. Fishing from November to April is excellent around the town of Kurow and you can tell by the hay bale people that the residents here are very friendly.About five hundred people live in Kurow and you will not miss this hay bale family while traveling on State Highway 83, as you pass right by this tourist attraction. ... continue below the picture...
