Stock photo of Viking in Historical Costumes. At the Norstead Viking Site on Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula you can experience life as it would have been circa 790-1066 AD. There are approx 15 costumed interpreters in historical costumes who are trained in a specific task and knowledge of the era. The historic Viking Port of Trade town was set up for the 1000 year celebrations in the year 2000 and has been operational ever since.
