The sun sets and dusk begins in Italy on the Lake Garda waterfront in the resort town of Riva del Garda in the Province of Trento, in the Trentino-Alto Adige in the gorgeous country of Italy. Riva del Garda is a town of around 15,000 people that is really popular with tourists as a holiday destination as it is right on the water and is small enough to provide peace and quiet, while still busy enough to be interesting and provide for an enjoyable holiday.
Riva del Garda is located on Lake Garda in between Mount Rocchetta and Mount Baldo, and this location, being in between two mountains and on the shores of a huge lake, makes this town a really popular destination. It also has a good moderate climate with some snow in the winter, and although in the summer it does get hot, it's not too hot that it is uncomfortable. ... continue below the picture...

The harbour and waterfront area is very popular during the summer months and offers outdoor dining in the many cafes that line the shores of the lake with views over the water, some fabulous Italian food, and the company of the locals of the town, while soaking up the atmosphere. While this town is very tourist driven, that is what keeps the local economy going and they rely on people visiting in order to make a living.
