The habitat at the foot of the massive redwood trees in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park is alive with a variety of flora and fauna.
Moss has draped itself over many plants both living and dead, ferns thrive in the nutritous soils which are made up of decomposed leaf litter, while insects birds and mammals do their part in the chain of life in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California.
