To see a Killer Whale hunting is a spectacular sight. When a Killer Whale starts hunting it will sometimes have to chase its prey and begins porpoising, almost moving above the water. A killer whale can swim very fast in bursts to catch prey. Mostly Transient Killer Whales prey on other marine mammals such as porpoises, seals, dolphins etc, whereas Resident Killer Whales are seen hunting for fish.
