The area is nicknamed as iceberg alley for good reason, these towering chunks of ice are regular sights along the shoreline near the village of Twillingate in Newfoundland, Canada. Beginning their journey on the water in Greenland after calving from glaciers dating back 15,000 years these giants are caught in the ocean currents which drive them south.
