Stock photos of icebergs, and some interesting facts about them. Iceberg Alley is a stretch of ocean which extends along the coast of Newfoundland. Caught up in the currents of the Atlantic Ocean, these giants travel a staggering 1600 nautical miles to reach the coast of Newfoundland after calving from the glaciers of Western Greenland.
These beautifully shaped icebergs looked fantastic against the setting sun, reflecting the pink of the sky as well as the green of the ocean. Icebergs are one of my favourite subjects to photograph.
