Nature provides the pollen and nectar from flowers and tree blossoms, such as the Apricot, which bees, insects, beetles and birds collect and distribute. The inquisitive green beetle, although looking too heavy for the task is fulfilling his job in an Apricot orchard in Unterinnerhof in the South Tyrol, Italy in Europe.During the Spring, there are a variety of insects which pass over the apricot tree blossoms, but this green beetle is very colorful with his shiny black and yellow backside. Each insect found throughout the orchard has business to attend to, but the wrong type of insect can cause havoc to any of the fruit trees grown throughout South Tyrol in Italy.Apricot blossoms with a green beetle at Unterinnerhof, Italy, South Tirol, Europe, Europe 2006.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/8.0, exposure time of 1/800 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 180mm.
