The steel arch and suspended deck of the Sault Ste Marie International Bridge are silhouetted against the gloriously illuminated sky during sunset over the city of Sault Ste Marie in Ontario, Canada.
At a total length of 4.5 kilometres (2.8 miles), the International Bridge spans the Locks of both Canada and the USA and the rapids of the St Mary's River.
The International Bridge features a single arch on the Canadian side which spans the Sault Ste Marie Canal, now a National Historic Site of Canada. On a clear spring evening with the setting sun behind it the arch of the International bridge is silhouetted while the sunset lights the sky with vibrant colours.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/10.0, exposure time of 1/100 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 250mm.
