A majority of Italy is surrounded by mountains one of which is the Dolomites which expands across Northern Italy and is part of the mountain range known as the Alps. The Dolomite mountains offer snow covered peaks, deep valleys filled with a countryside full of lush greenery, colorful green lakes and mountain villages throughout.
The Dolomite mountains provide some of the best biking areas in the Alps with a great number of roads in and around the mountains, some of which have barely been touched. Tourists flock to these roads on sunny weekends and during holidays which can tend to make the roads through the mountains quite a bit busier.
You'll find yourself spellbound standing atop a peak taking in the impressive view of the Dolomite mountains and the village of Nova Case (Neuhaussern) in Italy, Europe.
