Kouchibouguac Park in New Brunswick, Canada is a stunning area where you will find bogs, marshes, tidal rivers, lagoons, fields and forests which are all in a protected area. The park was established in 1969 and is approximately 238 square kilometers filled with colonies of terns and seals.There is so much to do and see around Kouchibouguac Park such as cycling, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping and a great birds eye view of the many types of wildlife that reside in the park. The piping plover which is an endangered species is also found in the park along with 225 other species of birds.In the winter months, the park is ideal for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. Winter camping is also available for those who can outlast the winds that can whip up along the Kouchibouguac River shores of New Brunswick.Kouchibouguac National Park is situated in the Kent Country along the coast of eastern New Brunswick and is open all year for visitors to explore. ... continue below the picture...
