The Labrador Coastal Drive in Southern Labrador, Canada is a route that everyone should explore when visiting Labrador. Drive through the pristine areas where the rugged wilderness and a spectacular sunset is just the beginning of the beauty of Labrador.
Beyond the hills between the towns of Red Bay and Mary's Harbour, the sun has almost dwindled away for the evening leaving the sky with an incredible coloring. A halo of brilliant yellow surrounds the sun and the glow extends outwards until the hues change the entire sky into shades of tan and peaches.
The tiers of hills are silhouetted in the background with the landscape in the foreground becoming darker as the sun vanishes. Many pull offs are found along the Labrador Coastal Drive in Southern Labrador for tourists to stop and snap some beautiful sunset pictures.
