The Mealy Mountains raise 1,176 metres (3,858 feet) to their highest point, starting only 1 kilometre inland from the shores of Lake Melville.
A stunning landscape of boreal forest interspersed with large areas of glacier smoothed rock, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. The mountains are also home to many species of wildlife such as black bears, caribou, moose, and of course the airborne critters such as bald eagles, and osprey,

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/200 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 34mm.
