The town of Torbole in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy is a resort centre. Sitting at the top of Lago di Garda (Lake Garda) and close to the mouth of the Sarca River, Torbole is a paradise for windsurfing and sailing.Lake Garda is the largest of the Italian lakes and also the cleanest. Torbole, Italy has only been accessible by road since the end of 2000 when the construction of a roadway around Lake Garda was completed.A unique wind pattern on the lake is great for the sailboats and surfers - in the afternoon and evening the wind blows from the South and from midnight through the morning from the North.
