The Canadian portion of Lake Superior is situated in the Lake Superior Provincial Park which is renowned for it rugged beauty and scenery. Lake Superior Provinical Park encompasses a transition zone between the Great Lakes Deciduous forests and the Boreal Forests and the lake itself moderates climate and local weather.
