For forty-two kilometers, the shoreline of Lake Wanaka adorns the landscape of Central Otago on the South Island of NZ. In some areas, the greenery snubs up to the shoreline and in others, beautiful beaches are filled with tourists throughout the summer months. The shoreline of Lake Wanaka in this picture shows how the lake is shallow close to the edge and then quickly drops off into deeper water.Lake Wanaka and the Makaroa River Valley, Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 1/125 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 27mm.
