The greatest view of Kejimkujik Lake in Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia, Canada is from the lifeguard chair that sits along the lake shore. Swimming is permitted at this lake anytime but for the safety of people, a lifeguard is put on duty during the summer months.
From the chair, the lifeguard can see all of the swimming area and anyone that appears to be in danger can be quickly spotted. A forest adorns the shores of Kejimkujik Lake with the beach slowly disappearing further along the shore, so visitors must only swim in the designated areas to ensure their safety.
Many lifeguard towers are simply a chair with no covering or place for storage. A lifeguard must bring the equipment to the beach on a daily basis and be sure that they are well sunscreened, but this luxuriated chair has a covering to block out the sun's rays and a locked storage so that a lifeguard is always sure the appropriate equipment is on hand should any accidents happen. ... continue below the picture...

Many unsupervised beaches exist along the lakes in Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia where people swim at their own risk. There is one other beach in this park where you will find a lifeguard on duty during the summer heat. People also enjoy fishing, hiking, biking and canoeing at many of the lakes around Kejimkujik National Park in the summer and cross crountry skiing is popular during the winter.
