A small community makes up the region of L'Anse Amour along Highway 510 on the Labrador Coastal Drive in Southern Labrador, Canada and the historic lighthouse and lightkeepers building is a main attraction in this town. The Point Amour Lighthouse is the tallest one found along the coast of Atlantic Canada which was built in the early 1850's due to the dangerous waters of the Strait of Belle Isle.
