The Cap de Sant Antoni lighthose in the Parc Naturel del Montgo in Valencia, Spain was the successor of defense and religious constructions that made use of the privileged situation of the area. It was built during the sixteenth century and the grounds were occupied by the San Jeronimo Monastery as well as by the watchtowers built for the defense against the pirate attacks.All of the buildings finally gave rise to the present Cap de Sant Antoni lighthouse in Valencia, Spain.
