A lonely male Orca surfaces as the rays from the sun paints a pink coloring to the lingering mist from his blowhole.The forested wilderness in the background, fairly calm waters, the sunlight and a Killer Whale is what makes life unbelievable for anyone that comes here to whale watch. ... Vancouver Island when you are spending time around the Northern Resident Killer Whales, one is never sure what type of behavior an Orca will do next. You can turn away for half a second and miss a spectacular breach, spyhop, pectoral fin slaps from this male or he may suddenly disappear.You make think that this male Orca is all alone but in reality, his family is not that far away.
