The 65 kilometre long Lowell Glacier comes to an abrupt halt at the Lowell Lake in the Kluane National Park of the Yukon Territory, Canada. Emerging from an iceflow dating back to the last ice age, the icefield which produces Lowell Glacier is the world's largest non-polar icefield.
