As we were photographing this stunning field of blooming Russell Lupins a tourist bus pulled up and spilled out an excited man welding his camera.
His cause was so urgent, because the bus was on a deadline to get back to Queenstown, that he asked for directions straight down to the field which we obliged with.
It was quite a sight to see this man so excited about photography and this was the perfect location to point his camera. This field of Russell Lupin plants was ablaze with colour which could be clearly seen from several kilometres away.
Field of Russell Lupins, Lupinus polyphyllus, in the Eglinton River Valley in Fiordland National Park along the Milford Road, South Island of New Zealand.
