The panoramic view of Marseille in Provence, France seen from the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde shows the terra cotta roofs of the houses as well as the more modern apartment and office buildings. The Roman-Byzantine church was built in the mid 1800's and restorative work was done in 2006.
