Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia, Canada has plenty of rivers to canoe on but the Mersey River is one of the prettiest. These canoes are owned by a shop along the shore of the Mersey River where you can rent a canoe for an afternoon or day and enjoy the beauty of the wilderness of Kejimkujik National Park.When people think of the Mersey River, they always think of Liverpool, England but this one is in Nova Scotia and was named after the river in England. The river starts in Annapolis County, through to Kejimkujik National Park and continues on until it empties into the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Liverpool, Nova Scotia.Formerly used as a transportation passage by the Mi'kmaq people, later becoming a waterways that massive amounts of logs could be transported out of the interior of Nova Scotia.
