Before the cannon gun can be fired, the military procession is marched into the Quay at the Fortress of Louisbourg in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia led by the head officer. The members at the front of the procession are dressed in red uniforms with the back members being in faded blue colored uniforms.Leading the military procession is the officer who is easily recognized by his bright blue uniform with the outside jacket being red in color.
