Monte Perdido which also means Lost Mountain is located in the Ordesa National Park in Huesca, Aragon in Spain and is the third highest mountain in the Pyrenees. Many people have hiked up Monte Perdido over the years but a lot have never made it back and this massive mountain range has the highest number of known deaths.The elevation of Monte Perdido in Huesca, Aragon is 11,007 feet and the hike is extremely difficult. The rise up Monte Perdido on the northeast face is in different levels of glacial tiers with very striking rock features.
