A field of poppies in full bloom is a spectacular sight as the bright colors adorn the landscape and brighten up the entire region near Morella, Spain in Europe. Not only are the poppies beautiful but not far across the field sits the ancient Castle of Morella adding one more attraction to the area.
The poppies stand tall in the daylight hours and gently sway with the breeze that passes through Morella, Spain. When the daylight hours fade away, the poppies seem to call it a day as well and daintily close up for the evening.
Poppies grow fairly easy in the El Maestrat as the climate temperatures are ideal and the poppies are not too picky on the other species of wildflowers that grow amongst them.
