The view from Highway 60 is stunning as the green hillside surrounds the town of Motueka on the South Island of New Zealand. Located at the mouth of the Motueka River on the western shore of Tasman Bay sits this quaint town known as Motueka, New Zealand which is the third largest center in the region. The population of Motueka town is fairly consistent with approximately 6000 permanent residents.Kaiteriteri and Marahau beaches are near the town of Motueka, New Zealand and are extremely popular with tourists. This area has one of the country's highest amount of annual sunshine so it makes it a town where many people come to visit while in New Zealand.The town of Motueka is one of the closest to the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks where there are many recreational areas.
