This snow covered mountain pass is just one of many that can be driven, hiked or climbed in South Tyrol, Italy. Each mountain pass in Italy has a different scale of difficulty for climbing but driving the narrow road makes it easier to make your way closer to the top to have a look at the magnificent scenery that surrounds Italy.The mountain pass road is also a great place for professional bikers to work up their stamina before heading to the major competitions. If you are driving through Passo Valparola you might want to make sure that a four wheel drive is available as some of the roads can become too much for a car.The scenery from the mountain pass is unbelievable as you can see for miles across the rugged mountains and valleys in Italy.
