The highest peak in the Canadian Rockies is Mount Robson, situated in British Columbia's second oldest park aptly named Mount Robson Provincial Park. In 1990, the Mt Robson Provincial Park was designated as part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A vast array of flora and fauna exist in the park, and it is possible to go through various vegetation zones in one day of hiking. Many species of birds and indigenous species of wildlife roam in the vast undisturbed wilderness.
