The house and grounds of this property in the town of Pukeuri near Oamaru are highly decorated in celebration of Christmas in New Zealand.
It takes about 2 weeks to string up the vast array of flashing, fading, and static Christmas lights throughout the grounds of this extensive property in Pukeuri on the South Island of New Zealand. On top of setting up the lights, there are the other decorations including candles, strings of beads, wreaths, and wrapped boxes.
For about a week prior to Christmas the grounds are open to the public and the hosts direct visitors on where to begin browsing. The reaction of people is sheer delight as they wonder through smiling. The children, of course, are captivated by this summer Christmas wonderland.
