As you drive all the Waitaki Valley in North Otago on the South Island of New Zealand you will come across beautiful farmland scenery such as this. Lush green hillsides and fields is all you can see for miles in this picture and the cows love grazing in the pastures.Patches of deep green trees grow amongst each farmland and houses are far and few between to make your own land seem so isolated.
After winter passes, the farmland on the South Island of New Zealand becomes more rich in color and once again the cows are heard mooing across the landscape.
On sunny days the cows will laze around the pasture and soak up some of the warmth that spring and summer bring to New Zealand. This is the ideal time to visit the South Island of New Zealand when everything is full in color and rich looking.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 58mm.
